Templates that are right on the day you download them
Every marketing blog gives away a PDF with the specs in it. The specs were true when somebody made the PDF and have been quietly wrong ever since. These are assembled at the moment you click, from the same verified facts the lessons use — so the influencer brief has today’s disclosure wording, and the cheat sheet has today’s limits.
Influencer brief with UK disclosure wording
A brief you can send a creator that will not get either of you an ASA ruling — with the acceptable label wording, where it has to go, and the approval clause that decides whether the CAP Code applies at all.
Taught in Influencer & Creator Partnerships, Legal & Ethical Social Media
Platform spec cheat sheet
Every character limit, aspect ratio and length cap we track, in one CSV — generated at the moment you download it, so it is current rather than commemorative.
Taught in Content Formats & Current Specs
UK compliance pre-flight checklist
Twelve checks to run before a post goes live in the UK, across the ASA, the CMA, the ICO and the sector rules — the ones that carry criminal liability.
Taught in Legal & Ethical Social Media
Account audit
The audit to run when you inherit an account — forty checks across profile, content, audience, compliance and measurement, in the order that finds problems fastest.
Taught in Accounts, Profiles & Link-in-Bio, Strategy: Audience, Pillars & Channel Mix
Content calendar
A calendar built round pillars and formats rather than dates alone, with the columns that make a monthly review possible instead of guesswork.
Taught in Content Planning & Repurposing
Crisis holding statements
Eight pre-written holding lines for the situations that actually happen, plus the escalation grid — because the worst time to write your first holding statement is during the thing it is holding.
Taught in Crisis Management
Engagement rate calculator
The three engagement rates that mean different things — by reach, by impressions, by follower — side by side, so you stop comparing numbers that were never comparable.
Taught in Analytics I: Reading the Numbers, Analytics II: Attribution & ROI
Monthly report that answers 'so what'
A reporting structure built round decisions rather than screenshots — what changed, why, what we're doing differently, and what we need.
Taught in Analytics II: Attribution & ROI, Advanced Measurement
Social media policy for a UK organisation
A policy skeleton covering who may post, approval, escalation, personal accounts and moderation — with the Online Safety Act position on brand communities written in correctly.
Taught in Legal & Ethical Social Media, Teams, Workflow & Governance
A token, not a number
Inside each template, a specification is written as a reference rather than a value — the file says {{fact:instagram.caption_limit}} rather than a number. When you download it, that reference is replaced with the current value and the date it was last verified.
Which means a template you downloaded in January and one you download today are different files, and both were right when they were made. Re-download before you reuse one on a new campaign; it takes a second and it is the difference between a brief that works and a brief that quietly does not.
