I thought the day was really useful and James was very knowledgeable. He used relevant examples to highlight all the points he made. If anything, we could have done with even longer as most of us had limited experience of this area and had a lot of questions!

- British Heart Foundation
The presentation was well structured and delivered in a clear digestible way. The trainer used his own experiences and lots of examples to put words into reality. It was obvious that he has lots of experience in this area. I found the presentation very useful and it gave me lots of thoughts and ideas to take away with me. I feel confident now to put these ideas into practice.

I thought this course was extremely insightful and well structured. Although it was a one day course, the information provided was not over whelming. It was good to have attendees that were all from the charity sector as we were able to share what's worked and what has hasn't. It was also good to be provided examples of social media work in practice as different elements of the course were explained. I really recommend trying to get on this if your role has anything to do with online communication or fundraising.

I thought that it was a really informative course, particularly the blogging side – I think that it’s something we can certainly put some more time and effort into. In terms of other courses it was far better to have the information coming from someone who has had experience of the industry but who isn’t trying to sell something – which often isn’t the case on other courses. You covered off everything I wanted to know.

The presentation was well received and was delivered in an accessible way, at an appropriate level. The case studies were interesting and many were applicable and relevant to us. The topics raised were useful as they verified some of the steps we are already taking and also provided us with some alternative avenues to explore.

I really enjoyed the course finding the content that was delivered to be very informative. The structure of the day worked well with the course trainer being very competent and conveyed his points well. Whilst there wasn't an opportunity during the day to ask many questions I found the Social Media Academy very accommodating in answering questions post the event via email and would be happy to recommend there services to colleagues and associates in the future.

We really enjoyed the Social Media Academy course in Edinburgh. The content and case studies that were delivered covered a lot of ground, covering all sizes of organisation across a number of sectors making it easy to relate to. From attending the day it gave me a clear insight into how Scottish Friendly could implement Social Media to effectively support and direct our current Marketing Framework, comparing well to other courses that we have attended in the past.

I really enjoyed the day. The trainer had an admirable degree of knowledge, which was imparted at just the right pace. There was much more to the topic than I expected so I had my eyes opened.” I was looking for ideas as to how to approach a campaign and the steps required for success, which were covered well - you have given me lots of ideas.

I really enjoyed The Social Media Academy training session. I thought you beared up well under the grilling you received from the audience! It’s a very impressive set of campaigns you’ve worked on and it was very inspiring to hear about the case studies with which you were involved, especially as the MD and I over here at Willoughby PR are all set to launch our own digital sector of the company.

I very much enjoyed the course. It was well tailored, interesting and informative. The fact that the audience were all travel related made the questions focused too which was a bonus rather than listening to people waffle on in relation to matters that are not relevant.

I found the Social Media course How to Integrate Social Media into PR &Marketing Campaigns insightful and extremely useful. The content and the examples used were encouraging in terms of demonstrable practice. One of our biggest strategies for 2010 is building brand awareness and integrating Social media into our marketing campaign, I have taken away some great ideas for future development for Truprint and its brand.

- E=MC2 Public Relations Ltd
I found the day really useful with the content delivered going into enough detail without overloading everyone with information. We have just started to integrate social media into our business so I found the structure of the presentation particularly helpful – starting with a general look at the different social mediums out there and then going into more detail about how to use them most effectively in both current and prospective media campaigns. I’ll certainly be recommending the Social Media Academy to both colleagues and associates and suggesting that they attend a similar course.
