Please read these terms of use carefully before you decide to purchase a delegate seat for an event offered by The Social Media Academy.
The Social Media Academy (a trading name of Firebrand Digital) is a training provider that conducts professional training events at a number of locations across the UK & Ireland. Attendance to any training event conducted by The Social Media Academy is subject to all outstanding funds being cleared prior to the course delivery date.
To confirm your booking you will need to either:
(a) Contact the Social Media Academy directly, at which time a Sales Associate will process your order, and following your call provide you with the appropriate documentation to support your booking via email
(b) Confirm your booking through thesocialmediaacademy.co.uk providing either credit card details or alternatively your personal details to allow us to re-contact you to complete your booking
The Social Media Academy will make every effort to ensure that your allocated course will take place on the relevant date and time originally specified within your booking confirmation, but where this is not possible, The Social Media Academy reserves the right to alter the date, time and location, provided that The Social Media Academy gives the delegate considerable notice of any such change(s) as soon as is reasonably possible. Any such change(s) shall not constitute a breach of contract and shall not give the delegate the right to terminate.
Any delegate who has not paid their booking fee in full will be refused entry.
Once a booking has been made it will be subject to the following terms:
(1) Each booking has a cancellation period of 7 days. This period begins upon confirmation of your booking. Following this period, all bookings are non-refundable. To cancel your booking within this period you are required to provide confirmation in writing to support your cancellation - The Social Media Academy does not except verbal confirmation as a form of cancellation.
(2) If you place a booking during the ‘Early Bird’ period, you are required to clear the full balance listed on the invoice prior to the final date of the ‘Early Bird’ period. Failure to do so will result in a charge for the full price of the event with the discount removed.
The Social Media Academy will not accept any liability for any transport disruptions, individual travel delays, and extremes in weather or other changes of circumstance. In any of these instances, normal cancellation restrictions will apply.
These terms and conditions are effective for all bookings, even if payment has not been received at the time of booking, and also includes any delegate that is classified as a "no show" on the event date.
The Social Media Academy is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. Through purchasing a training package through the Social Media Academy, we can ensure that no payment information will be held within the company or shared with any third parties. The Social Media Library may collect information surrounding information of a personal nature (Name, Company, Title etc) for research purposes only.
The Social Media Academy is an independent entity that does not deal with any third parties, all information collected is stored locally for internal purposes only and will endeavour to remove you from our record should we receive written request.
This website & all training courses offered are operated by Firebrand Digital Limited ("we"). We are a limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 06450762 and have our registered office and trading address at The Heals Building, 22 Torrington Place, London WC1E 7HJ. Our VAT number is 933 9579 76.
